Communication
There are several ways for parents to keep up with their student's academic calendar and activities. Here are a few.
1. STUDENT PLANNER---At OGMS, every student is required to have a Planner. It is a useful tool to help a student organize their academic life. It is the students responsibility to write down their assignments, test dates, activities, and deadlines for projects. I encourage you to check your students Planner on a daily basis.
2. ACTIVE PARENT---Set up your Active Parent account with the OGMS school office. This will give you access to your students grades, attendance, and behavior records.
3. EMAIL---email is the best way to reach me. I can check it several times each day and get back with you quickly. My email is ben.hughes@lamark12.org
4. Google Classroom---I have a Google Classroom for Science and one for Social Studies. It is a great way to see what we are studying, the assignments for your child, and their grades.
